  • Business Link - Helping Alberta small businesses to start and thrive, providing free access to experts. 
  • Community Futures Alberta – Rural small business support, including business plans, guidance, and funding. 
  • Prairies Economic Development – Supports economic growth and diversification across the prairies. 
  • Public Services and Procurement Canada - Opportunities to win government contracts and bid on RFPs.

  • Alberta Indian Investment Corporation – Supporting First Nation entrepreneurs in Alberta. 
  • Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Corp. – Financial services for clients, including access to microbusiness loans for Métis women. 
  • BMO for Women – Resources and support for women in business. 
  • Business Development Bank of Canada – Helping small and medium-sized businesses with finances and advisory services. 
  • Coralus – Crowd source venture capital for women and nonbinary individuals.
  • FACE – Black entrepreneurship loan fund to help black business owners with access to capital investments. 
  • Fundica - AI-powered search engine that matches businesses with government funding opportunities relevant to their business.
  • Futurpreneur – Financing, mentoring and support to entrepreneurs aged 18 – 39.
  • The Scotiabank Women Initiative - Breaking down barriers to help increase economic and professional opportunities for women.
  • The Social Enterprise Fund - Money lenders for social enterprises in Alberta that want to make things better in the community and world.
  • Women in Trade – A program through Export Development Canada providing capital to women exporters.

  • Alberta Women Entrepreneurs – Tools and resources for women, including access to capital. 
  • Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program – Helping people with barriers or health conditions start and grow businesses. 
  • Indigenous Women’s Entrepreneur Program – Access to dedicated support officers, workshops, and micro-loans. 
  • The Forum – Canadian charity that energizes, educates, mentors, and connects self-identified women entrepreneurs. 
  • Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub – National network and digital platform for sharing research, resources, and strategy. 
  • Women’s Enterprises Organizations of Canada – An association of organizations that provide programs to business owners.
